Charateristics:

Triethylene diamine is a white crystalline powder, easy soluble in water, acetone, benzene and ethanol, soluble in pentane, hexane, heptane and straight chain hydrocarbons, easily absorb moisture deliquescence and agglomeration when exposed in the air. It can absorb carbon dioxide in the air and then become yellow.

Application:

The product is mainly used as a catalyst for polyurethane foam (rigid foam and soft foam), and it could also be used as a catalyst for curing silicone rubber, polyurethane rubber and polyurethane paint. It can be used directly, also can be used as the liquid solution, it can promote the gel reaction in the process of foaming. It can also be used as a pesticide production of the initiator and non cyanide electroplating additives. The product is strongly alkaline, low toxicity and irritation, so the person should wear protective equipment when we use this product.
